1. Book Your Hunt
To book a hunt please contact us by using the contact form on each page, email or call us at 1-250-720-3302. We will get back to you within 2 business days to confirm your details and answer any questions you may have.
2. get packing
Your pre-hunt packet will be mailed out once we confirmed your booking and received your deposit. This packet contains:
- Travel instructions, packing list, and contact information
- Hunt contract for you to sign and return
- Liability release form for you to sign and return
- Copy of the firearms declaration forms CAFC 909 and CAFC 910 for the customs officials
3. start hunting
- You should arrive in Nanaimo the day before your hunt starts where we will pick you up and bring you to our accommodation.
- During your hunt, you can expect to be accompanied at all times by one of our experienced guides or outfitter.
- Each day you will return back to our hunting lodge for a delightful meal, good company, and a good night's rest.
- After your hunt you will be transported back to the airport, likely with the trophy of your dreams and many photos and unforgettable stories to share with your family and friends.
4. bring home the trophy
Once you harvested your trophy, we will help you make arrangements to transport it home.
Or, you may leave it with one of the recommended local taxidermists to have it prepared, mounted, and shipped to your home.
Jared Christon (Canadian Black Bear Taxidermy) is our preferred/recommended taxidermist. He is extremely passionate about his work and specializes in black bear taxidermy. Jared also works with us as a guide each spring and gets to know each client personally during the hunt. In our experience, Jared is the best in the business and for that reason, we highly recommend Canadian Black Bear Taxidermy.
